Any of the Dr Seuss range

You cannot regain or catch up on ‘lost’ sleep by sleeping more at another time. Your brain adapts so that it can function just as well on less sleep. Falling asleep anytime or anywhere is a sign of a good sleeper

Consistency and Routine are KEY

Do not let your baby sleep during the day then it will sleep well at night

Dark, quiet atmosphere

A good routine, plenty of loving and cuddling, loads of encouragement and praising.

Di Stewart

I am a mother of 5 amazing children and 7 beautiful grandchildren. I reside in the heart of Zululand on a farm, and have lived there with my husband for 41 years.

My children, I believe, had an extremely healthy lifestyle – fresh air, exercise and nutrition. I had a lot of practice with their varied sleeping habits. I have always been intrigued about sleeping patterns in children, as all our bodies require sleep to maintain proper function and health.  We are programmed to sleep each night as a means of restoring our bodies and minds. I have always been told I have a gift with children, and with the encouragement of my family and friends, I took the big step and joined the Good Night team. I can honestly say it has been one of the highlights of my life, and I look forward to each new challenge along the way.
